Casa Lefevre is located on Calle 5 in Plaza Catedral right in front of the Metropolitan Cathedral of Panama. Next to it is the Hotel Central (reserve the Hotel Central). This plaza is absolutely stunning with plenty of benches to sit in and a gazebo in the middle. There are also statues of the founding fathers of Panama in the plaza, including my great grandfather Federico Boyd.
I used to live in PH Catedral in 2008 after university and I loved living there. Casa Lefevre was being built since that time, but the building ran into some issues and it finally got its occupation permit in 2022. There is a super cute cafe called Al Alma Casco Antiguo on the ground floor of this building. Don’t expect any partying on this plaza unlike Plaza Herrera. It is definitely quieter. There are some events periodically, including concerts and carols. The Panama Canal Museum is located in Plaza Catedral, as well as a small History Museum in the Municipality building.
Casa Lefevre 1A
This vacation rental in Casco Viejo has 128 square meters making it quite spacious. It can sleep six guests in two rooms which each have queen size beds. Bedrooms are on the second floor of the apartment. Two bathrooms are available for the comfort of guests one with a shower and one with a bathtub. There is also a sofa bed in the living room area that has a flat screen television. This apartment has a terrace with views, a fully equipped kitchen that is open to the living room area. Casa Lefevre 1A has free WiFi, air conditioning, and washing machine. Pets are welcome at no extra cost.
Casa Lefevre 1B
With 140 square meters, this apartment in Casco Viejo has plenty of space for guests. It can sleep six people in two bedrooms each with a queen size bed and a sofa bed in the living room. Bedrooms are on the top floor of the apartment, each with its own bathroom, one with a shower and one with a standing bathtub.
There is a sofa on the top floor and an open living room area with a dining table and a flat screen television on the bottom floor of this loft. Kitchen is fully equipped and there is also a washing machine in the apartment. Pets are allowed at no additional fee. There is quite a large terrace to enjoy the views of Plaza Catedral.
Casa Lefevre 1C
Casa Lefevre 1C is just like Casa Lefevre 1B in the same exact layout and size. What changes is the decoration.
Casa Lefevre 2B
This one bedroom apartment in Casco Viejo has a queen size bed and a sofa bed in the living room sleeping four guests. The room has a large closet space and a few windows with shades to give it lighting since it is at the end of the apartment. Its bathroom has a shower with a rain shower head. The open kitchen living room area is spacious enough with all the amenities and appliances guests may need. This apartment has a washer machine, free WiFi, air-conditioning and accepts pets for free.
Casa Lefevre 3A
With 79 square meters, this comfortable one bedroom apartment sleeps four people in one bedroom with a queen bed and a sofa bed in the living room. Bathroom has a bathtub with a shower. It is similar in amenities to Casa Lefevre 2B, just the layout is completely different since it is long, giving it plenty of terrace space to enjoy the views of Plaza Catedral.
Casa Lefevre 3B
This is the smallest of all the vacation rentals in Casa Lefevre with 63 square meters. It has a queen bed and a sofa bed sleeping four guests. Please note that this apartment is a studio apartment in the attic. So all the layout of the place is open with the bed, sofa, television, dining table and a small cooking area, since it has no kitchen. There is a terrace up on the rooftop with great views.
