Description
Casco Queen is the most unique and fun way to walk Panama City’s old quarter! This theater tour is narrated by Elena Isabel 1ra. who has fulfilled her dream of becoming the queen of Casco Antiguo. She will take you throughout all the corners of her neighborhood. A theater tour uses the city as its scenery.
The Casco Queen tour will take you to the main destinations in Casco Viejo which include Plaza de Francia, Plaza Carlos V, Arco Chato or Flat Arch, the beach of Santo Domingo, Plaza Herrera and a final surprise destination. Elena Isabel 1ra. will be interacting with local members of the community and telling you gossip about the neighborhood as you walk along. You will also learn about Casco Viejo’s history like how the flat arch was a crucial part of building the Panama Canal.
This tour includes a few gastronomical stops so guests can order at their own expense. The first one is Dodó Bon Pan Café where you can have a coffee and a dessert. Then you can taste chocolates in the I Love Panama Chocolate store. Los del Barrio is the final destination of the tour where you can finish with a local Panamanian meal and a free glass of sangria for all participants.

Important information: meeting point is Dodó Café at 4 p.m.. Casco Queen tour starts at 4:30 p.m. so it is important to arrive early. This tour is ONLY done on Sundays in Spanish with an English option starting July 2023. There is a minimum age of 8 years to do this tour which takes around two hours. This tour is done with rain using umbrellas and raincoats, if you have one bring it, otherwise the crew has some to lend to tourists.
