Discover Scuba in Portobelo allows you to discover if you like scuba diving without the commitment and the expense of getting a scuba diving certification. Portobelo has quite calm waters making it the ideal place to test your diving skills. No experience or certification is necessary to do the Discover Scuba in Portobelo. This experience will not count towards your diving certification.
Take a quick course that lasts between two to three hours which teaches you how to use scuba gear, how to perform basic scuba skills and how to use hand signals to communicate underwater. Classes will be in confined waters with an instructor. Discover Scuba in Portobelo includes a boat ride to a safe and calm spot in the Caribbean Sea. You will do one immersion reaching a maximum of 30 feet deep.

What to bring? comfortable and light clothes, flip flops or aqua shoes, bathing suit, towel, toiletries, hat, sunscreen and GoPro with diving case or underwater camera.
Important information: divers must be at least 8 years old to be able to do this experience. This tour includes all the necessary gear for diving. Photos can be purchased for an additional fee. Please let us know if you need this tour to include transportation to and from Panama City. It is also possible to stay in a hotel in Portobelo for a night or two if you wish to organize this alternative.
