Your guide will be able to take you around this historic neighborhood to see its beautiful plazas and churches. Travel back in time while listening to the stories and histories this neighborhood has to tell.
The Legends of Casco Viejo Walking Tour has two options: pickup and drop off in a hotel in Panama City or meeting the guide directly in Casco Viejo. This tour will take you through Plaza Herrera, Plaza Bolivar, Plaza de Francia and Las Bovedas, and Plaza Catedral. See important places such as the National Theatre, Panama’s Presidential Palace, and the Bolivar Palace. You will also visit the Convent of Santo Domingo with its famous flat arch, San Jose Church with its golden altar and the Metropolitan Cathedral.
During your Legends of Casco Viejo Walking Tour you will have the opportunity to visit craft stores in Salsipuedes and local markets. See incredible street art murals and traditional hats. This tour complements quite well with the El Chorrillo Walking Tour to see other parts of the area.

Important information: Some churches in Casco Viejo may charge a $2 entrance fee, which is not included. Food is not included in the tour. Casco Viejo features narrow, historic sidewalks and cobblestone streets, making it inaccessible for wheelchairs. We recommend wearing comfortable walking shoes and avoiding high heels, as they can be hazardous on the uneven streets. The tour takes place regardless of weather conditions; umbrellas are provided to all participants. We also recommend bringing a raincoat during the rainy season.
Pick-up service is available at an additional cost from locations in Panama City and Playa Bonita. Participants will be picked up 30 minutes before the start of the Legends of Casco Viejo walking tour.
