Looking for a full day of adventure? Bayano Adventure Park has so much to offer! This lake was created in 1976 when the Bayano River was dammed to create a hydroelectric. It is about an hour and a half drive from Panama City. Bayano lake is mostly famous for the Bayano Caves as well as the indigenous Embera communities that reside in the area.

What to bring? Sneakers or hiking boots, flip flops, bathing suit, change of clothes, towel, comfortable clothes preferably long pants, rain jacket or waterproof bag (green season), insect repellent, sunscreen, hat, ID and camera.
Important information: children under 4 are free of charge in the Bayano Adventure Park. There are different rates for children of 5, 6 to 8 and 9 through 12 years. Teenagers (from 13 to 17) pay another rate. Guides are not bilingual to get one there is an additional rate. Transfers from Panama City to Bayano can be done in a sedan car, hi ace, coaster or universal bus. Vehicle depends on how many people are in the group. Please consult if unsure of which option to choose. Lunch is generally chicken or fish with patacones which are fried plantains. Make sure to notify of any dietary restraints.
