Description
Snorkeling in the Pearl Islands is such a great way to explore the underwater world of Panama. The name Panama means abundance of fish (and butterflies) so you know that you are in for a treat! This snorkeling tour starts from Contadora Island. You must take the Ferry to Contadora or fly to Contadora in order to get to the island. Snorkeling in the Pearl Islands can also start from Saboga island in case the client is staying on that island.
The Pearl Islands are simply stunning. Many of them are completely uninhabited and are worth exploring. Unlike Panama’s mainland, its island on the Pacific Ocean have white sand. Water is also calmer and has better visibility.
Expect to see angelfish, butterfly fish, parrot fish, puffer fish, rainbow fish, Moorish idol fish, sergeant fish, trumpet fish, grouper and many more. It is also possible to see turtles, eels, rays, reef sharks, lobsters, and plenty of corals.

What to bring? bathing suit, beach clothes, change of clothes, towel, rain jacket or waterproof bag (green season), sunscreen, hat, ID, cash (there is NO ATM on the islands), water bottle and GoPro.
Important information: there is a four person minimum necessary for the tour or its equivalent cost. Other passengers may join the tour unless you want to do a private tour. There is a 24 hour minimum required to change the date of the Snorkeling in the Pearl Islands trip. Cancellations done a week before receive reimbursement.
