Do you want to learn how to cook Panamanian food? The Panamanian cooking class is offered in a gastronomic studio located in Casco Viejo. Ana Patricia Zubieta created this space to promote Panamanian gastronomy, seasonal products and traditional recipes.
The menu to be prepared in the Panamanian cooking class varies according to the diets and allergies of the participants. Participants will prepare a complete menu with a drink, starter, main course and dessert. All ingredients are included and unmanipulated, so they can be chopped, measured, etc. The chef will serve as a guide to help the participants prepare the recipes. She will also explain to you about Panamanian gastronomy and all its influences.
Small groups are recommended to get the full experience. When there are groups of more than 10 people it is combined with “show cooking” where participants see the chef cook. The best thing about the Panamanian cooking class is trying all the prepared recipes that are served “family style” so that everyone can eat what they want.
