Black Magic Pirate Boat is Panama’s only pirate party ship. Originally it was located in Bocas del Toro, but it moved to Panama City in 2022. This boat is 110 feet long and it is sure to provide an authentic pirate experience. Spend a day in the sun while you dance to good music and swim in the Pacific Sea. Alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages are available for purchase on board, as well as a few options of food such as hamburgers and hot dogs.
Taboga Pirate Experience
Depart from Panama City heading to Taboga Island. This day tour from Panama City will stop in the bay of the island for passengers to be able to swim in the sea. Black Magic Pirate Boat has ropes for you to swing into the ocean or simply relax in one of the many floating devices that are on board. It is also possible to snorkel around the corals in Taboga Island. Some passengers simply want to relax on board and soak up the sun on deck.
There is music onboard the Black Magic Pirate Boat for the enjoyment of passengers. If you feel like dancing and partying head to the main deck. However, the pirate ship is big and the music is not overpowering, so you can choose to have a more relaxed day if you are on a family trip or just want to take it easy. This tour takes 6 hours returning to Panama City at sunset.
Taboga Pirate Experience is held every Saturday.
Pirate Trip by Panama Bay
Black Magic Pirate Boat will take you to see the best views of Panama City’s beautiful skylines. During this tour you will be able to see Casco Viejo, Amador Causeway, the Biomuseum, the Bridge of the Americas and Avenida Balboa or Cinta Costera from the sea. Look at all the incredible skyscrapers that adorn the coastal line of the city, as well as the boats waiting to cross the Panama Canal.
This is a unique experience which will allow you to enjoy the sound and fresh breeze of the ocean. There is live music onboard the Black Magic Pirate Boat for guests to enjoy and dance if they’d like. This option is also available for private tours, corporate events, birthday parties, bachelor parties and electronic music events. This tour takes 3 hours.
Pirate Trip by Panama Bay is done every two Sundays.
Kids and Families Pirate Bay Tour
Enjoy the magical skyline of Panama City onboard the Black Magic Pirate Boat. It is smooth sailing from start to finish because you will go through the waters of Panama City bay which are quire calm. See the Bridge of the Americas, Amador Causeway, Biomuseum, Casco Viejo and Avenida Balboa from the Pacific Ocean.
Guests are welcome to dress up, especially children if they have any pirate costumes. Little pirates will enjoy this tour while participating in fun activities including games, dancing and water cannon battles! This tour takes 2 hours.
Kids and Families Pirate Bay Tour is done every two Sundays.

What to bring? comfortable shoes and clothes, camera, cash or credit card. Bathing suit, sunscreen, sunglasses, hat, towel and extra set of clothes are recommended for the Taboga Pirate Trip.
Important information: please contact us BEFORE booking this tour to make sure there is availability as the boat sells out quickly. There are regular sails every Saturday, Fridays and Sundays. Black Magic Pirate Boat departs from the Balboa Yacht Club in the Amador Causeway in Panama City. Kids’ prices range from 6 to 17 years of age.
There are no refunds from the tour operator. Changes of plans 72 hours prior to the tour date permit change of dates with a credit. Cancellations within 72 hours of departure are not possible and will receive no credit. There will be a tour in rain or sunshine, as there are no cancellations due to weather.
Bringing alcohol onboard is not allowed and it will be confiscated and the person may be subject to expulsion. Staff may refuse to serve any passengers that appear to be excessively intoxicated or presenting inappropriate conduct. Drugs and smoking are not permitted onboard.
