Description
Bayano Caves are simply stunning! Start your tour from Bayano Adventure on a 30 minute boat trip through the islands in Lake Bayano. There is a short hike to reach the caves. See cave formations which sometimes open to offer shafts of sunlight that illuminate the cave showing all of its wonders. Sometimes you may have to walk in complete darkness. There is water in the cave with tiny fish and colorful frogs. There are also plenty of bats in the Bayano Caves.
The tour of the Bayano Caves includes passing through uneven terrains that are made of sand and rock. Please watch where you are stepping since some areas can be slippery. Levels of water inside the Bayano Caves can change according to the level of the lake reaching depths of five to six feet. You will have a life jacket at all times, so swimming is not necessary.
