Tourists who visit our country should experience a traditional Panamanian Dinner and Show. There is no better place to do this than Tinajas Restaurant in Panama City. It is located in an old and elegant residence in the Bella Vista neighborhood. Tinajas is a clay vessel used in the countryside to drink fresh water. This restaurant conserves the fresh taste of Panama with a wide selection of local and authentic recipes.
The Panamanian Dinner and Show experience includes a one hour show on a stage. This show includes typical Panamanian folklore with dances. The pollera and montuno are shown in this show with different styles including the house pollera and the “vestido de gala” which is for special occasions. Guests will also be able to see the dirty devils dancing which are typical of the Azuero region of Panama.

Important information: the show is at 8 p.m. so diners should arrive at 7 p.m. Food includes chichita cocktail as a welcome drink. The appetizer is chicken soup or typical fried Panamanian food such as chicharrones, yuca, tortillas, patacones, carimañolas or almojabanos. Main dish can be garlic or grilled sea bass; grilled chicken; platter with rice with chicken, ropa vieja, tamal de olla, sweet plantain or a vegetarian option with garden salad, sweet plantain and rice with beans. Dessert is flan or tres leches.
