Description
Playa Caracol is located only 75 minutes from Panama City. It is located at the base of the Chame peninsula. This residential project is located on 1 kilometer of beach front in the middle of a white sand beach that is 24 kilometers long. It overlooks the majestic Cerro Chame Hills to the north giving the beach a beautiful background. You can also stay at Playa Caracol since the residential project has some vacation homes.
There are three surf breaks at Playa Caracol. Its waves come both from the left and the right. The best time to surf is at the peak of low tide to catch the best waves since it pumps at low tide and gets messy at high tide. Waves are consistently around 3 feet year round. This is a good beach to take a surf lesson in Panama. Your private instructor will give you a surf lesson which is apt for people of any age. It will be conducted in shallow waters where there are small waves. Instructors will teach you basic techniques and support you in your surfing adventure.
There is a surf club on site that offers facilities such as hammocks, lounge chairs and showers. There is also a restaurant where you can get lunch with food options that include seafood, tacos and sandwiches. Relax by the beach or pool and enjoy your day.
